Operation Haderin Daji Troops foil Bandits’ Attack Plans in Zamfara Communities

During a recent mission, the Nigeria Air Force, as part of Operation Haderin Daji (OPHD), successfully intercepted bandits who were planning to carry out attacks on various communities in Zamfara State.

Reports indicate that the bandits were ambushed by the OPHD forces in Makaruwa village as they attempted to flee.

The planned attack was intended as a retaliatory strike on certain villages but was thwarted by the swift action of the OPHD troops.

Lieutenant Sulieman Omole, the spokesperson for OPHD, emphasized that the operation highlights the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and security in Northwest Nigeria, demonstrating a firm stance against criminal elements that pose a threat to the region’s stability.
