Article Rewrite Warning from Wike to Satellite Towns Coordinator

During the inauguration of Mr Abdulkadir Zulkiflu as the Coordinator of Satellite Towns Development Department (STDD) in Abuja, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, cautioned him against engaging in negotiations with contractors.

In his address, the former Rivers State Governor emphasized the importance of considering the appointment as a chance to contribute to national progress.

Wike urged Zulkiflu to focus on efficiently coordinating activities in the satellite towns rather than spending time in the office negotiating with contractors.

He reminded the Coordinator of his primary responsibilities, stating, “Your role is to coordinate, communicate, and provide updates to me as the FCT minister.”

Wike stressed the commitment of the FCT Administration to ensure that all satellite towns benefit from government initiatives and encouraged Zulkiflu to seize the moment to deliver tangible outcomes, highlighting the various ongoing projects in these areas.

He emphasized the importance of making sure that residents in the satellite towns experience the impact of President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.

Wike encouraged Zulkiflu to focus on performing his duties diligently, stating, “I value action more than mere accolades. Let your work speak for itself.”

Addressing the current focus on the development of satellite towns by the FCTA, the Minister emphasized the need for meticulous execution of tasks.
