APC Reports NNPP-Affiliated Members Suspended Ganduje

The suspension of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, was carried out by individuals who are not official members of the party, according to APC.

APC’s spokesperson, Felix Morka, stated that those responsible for Ganduje’s suspension have ties to the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

Morka expressed that the act of suspending Ganduje is part of a broader scheme of political persecution orchestrated by Governor Abba Yusuf’s administration.

He mentioned, “The individuals behind this wrongful action do not hold valid APC membership in the ward but are linked to prominent figures and representatives of the NNPP.”

Furthermore, Morka noted, “This orchestrated move by the NNPP officials in Kano is a component of the reprehensible agenda of political victimization initiated by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf against Dr. Ganduje, the former Governor of Kano State.”

APC has formally lodged a complaint with the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, urging a prompt investigation into Ganduje’s suspension and calling for the culprits and their backers to be held accountable.

Earlier, on Monday, APC officials in Dawakin ward, Tofa LGA of Kano, suspended Ganduje on grounds of alleged corruption.
