APC National Vanguard Criticizes Kano Governor Yusuf Regarding Ganduje’s ‘Suspension’

An political group called the APC National Vanguard has expressed disapproval towards the actions of Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, accusing him of orchestrating the alleged suspension of APC national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje.

Reports indicate that Ganduje was suspended on Monday by his ward in the Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State.

Despite this, the state party leadership has refuted the claim, asserting that those responsible for the supposed suspension were not official members of the party.

In response, the APC group, through a statement signed by its convener Alabi Toke and secretary Makinde Kolawole, condemned the attempt to remove Ganduje, labeling it as an attack on the democratic values of the ruling party.

The group pointed fingers at Governor Yusuf as the driving force behind the alleged suspension.

“We urge him (Gov Yusuf) to step down if he lacks any motivation other than engaging in witch-hunting and divisive politics in Kano State.

“If he is unwilling to uphold the principles of justice through proper channels and insists on using unruly, deceitful, and manipulative methods against the opposition, he should relinquish governance to more capable individuals.

“To those outside the APC desiring to rejoin the party, we advise that they do so in a dignified and respectful manner.

“Adopting sinister, underhanded, and deceptive strategies to achieve their objectives is not only intolerable but also undermines the foundations of democracy and equitable competition,” the group asserted.
