Another term for Abure as LP national chairman

For a second term, Julius Abure clinches victory as the National Chairman of the Labour Party. Delegates showed unanimous support for his re-election, as reported by Channels TV.

The announcement of the winner was made by Mr Ikechukwu Emetu, the Chairman of the National Convention and Deputy Governor of Abia State at the party’s national convention held in Nnewi, Anambra State, on Wednesday.

Abure has been involved in a dispute with the leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress, which is under the helm of Joe Ajaero.
