On Wednesday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested 29 alleged internet fraudsters in different areas of Abuja, including Apo, Gwarimpa, and Katampe.
Based on credible information indicating their potential involvement in online fraud, the suspects were apprehended by EFCC operatives.
During the operation, authorities confiscated various items from the suspects, such as 43 mobile phones, six vehicles, and two smartwatches.
Once the investigations are finalized, the suspects will be brought before the court for prosecution, according to an official statement by the anti-corruption agency.
