Notable Abia ADC Leader, Nwosu, Joins APC

In a recent decision, Obinna Nwosu, who contested for the 2023 House of Representatives on the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ticket for the Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency seat, has switched allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State. Nwosu’s announcement was made known in Umuahia, the state capital, emphasizing his decision to align with the APC to support the government’s efforts and contribute to the nation’s progress.

Nwosu explained, “Today marks my official membership with the All Progressives Congress at the grassroots level. Given Nigeria’s current transitional phase, it is important for citizens to actively back the administration led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to unlock a prosperous future for the nation.

Expressing gratitude to his supporters in Abia State, Nwosu affirmed his commitment to aiding in the country’s development through his new political affiliation. He hoped that his decision to join the APC would inspire more young individuals, especially Igbo youths from the southeast, to engage in national politics.”
