Setting a new milestone, Kylian Mbappe, the talented forward of Paris Saint-Germain, has recently equaled the UEFA Champions League goalscoring record previously held by the iconic Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a former player of the same club.

In a thrilling quarter-final showdown against Barcelona, Mbappe showcased his brilliance by scoring a remarkable brace.

During the match, the French captain successfully converted a penalty in the 61st minute. Later, he secured his second goal in the 89th minute, capitalizing on an error made by Jules Kounde. This exceptional performance helped PSG secure a 6-4 aggregate victory at the end of the game.

With these goals, the 25-year-old has now amassed a total of 48 goals in 71 appearances in the prestigious Champions League, matching Ibrahimovic’s impressive record of 48 goals in 124 games.
