T’yanna Wallace, Notorious B.I.G.’s daughter, expresses her frustration at being solely recognized as her famous father’s child

T’yanna Wallace, daughter of the late rapper Notorious B.I.G., has voiced her weariness at only being identified as his daughter, expressing her desire to be acknowledged for her own accomplishments.

Speaking at the launch of her clothing line, Notoriouss, the aspiring designer shared her sentiments with Page Six.

“I don’t like when people say, ‘Oh, that’s Biggie’s daughter,’ because that’s not my name. Now everybody knows Notoriouss clothing by T’yanna Wallace. I barely hear ‘Biggie’s daughter.’ I hear T’yanna first, and I like that,” she stated.

T’yanna emphasized her determination to “make a name for myself,” adding, “I don’t want to live off of my dad’s money. I want to make my own money. I worked in the cafeteria for a year while I attended Penn State.”

March 9 marked the anniversary of her father’s death. Biggie was in California at the time when his SUV stopped at a red light. A vehicle then pulled up alongside it, and a gunman opened fire. Biggie was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
