An attack was carried out on the camp of one of the most feared bandits in Zamfara State, Shuaibu Danlukutus, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, by military troops in collaboration with the Zamfara State local security outfit, Community Protection Guards (CPG).
The operation was executed at Gengene village along Magami road in Gusau, where the bandits were unexpectedly ambushed by the vigilant troops.
During the operation, Shuaibu Danlukutus, the primary target, was neutralized by the troops.
A reliable military source revealed that the anti-bandit troops’ ongoing operations have been yielding positive results with scores of bandits being eliminated daily as military operatives in cooperation with conventional security forces relentlessly raid the bandits’ hideouts.
Just last week, military operatives arrested four armed bandits who attacked Tsafe town in Tsafe Local Government Area while over 12 bandits were eliminated in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The troops are maintaining their pressure on the terrorists in both Katsina and Zamfara States.
