Court Summons NFF President and Others in Taraba FA Crisis

Justice Salim O. Ibrahim, sitting in the Federal High Court in Jalingo, has taken action by summoning the Taraba State government and the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

According to insights from NewsNow, this legal development is in response to contempt of court accusations brought forward by Pastor Victor Ando Andrew and three other claimants.

The court’s directive, issued on Friday, specifically mandated the state’s Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Joseph Joshua, to personally attend the next court hearing without fail.

In addition, the state’s Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Yakubu Maikasuwa (SAN), was tasked with ensuring the Commissioner of Youths and Sports’ presence in court.

Barrister Onoja Joshua, representing NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, General Secretary Dr Mohammed Sanusi, Taraba State Football Association Chairman Mr. Timothy Heman Magaji, and Hassan Abubakar, was also instructed to guarantee their appearance at the upcoming court date.

These legal actions are in response to allegations of contempt of court aimed at the mentioned NFF officials and Taraba State Commissioner of Youths and Sports, Joseph Joshua.
