Substituted Means to Serve Mohbad’s Wife in Court
The notice of the pending DNA test application for Wunmi, the wife of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, will be served via substituted means as ordered by the Chief Magistrate Court in Ikorodu.
A statement signed by Monisola Odumosu, a member of the Aloba family's legal team, and obtained by PUNCH Metro on Wednesday, confirmed this development.
In the application submitted by the legal team representing Joseph Aloba, the late singer's father, they requested to serve Wunmi by posting all legal documents related to the case on her last-known address.
The legal team, led by Emmanuel Oroko, argued that previous attempts by the sheriff to serve Wunmi the court documents had failed, leading to the need for substituted means of service.
