Six people have died in an explosion and subsequent fire that occurred on Saturday night in a restaurant in the Czech town of Most, in which eight others have also been injured, firefighters reported on Sunday.
The probable cause of the accident is the overturning of a gas heater, as indicated on the social network Facebook by the fire department of the Ústí nad Labem region, in the northwest of the country.
The injured, six of them in serious condition, have been admitted to various hospitals. One of the firefighters who participated in the extinguishing efforts has also suffered injuries.
