The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed this Sunday a massive attack against military and energy infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine, reported hours earlier by kyiv.

According to the military note, military airfields were hit, as well as gas and energy production facilities used for the operation of companies in the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.

In addition, Russian forces attacked a warehouse of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as concentrations of Ukrainian troops in 144 points in the enemy country, the official note states.

Ukrainian President Volodymiz Zelensky previously stated that Russia had carried out a massive attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure last night and this morning with the launch of 120 missiles and 90 drones.

“A massive combined attack on all regions of Ukraine. During the night and morning, Russian terrorists used drones of various types, in particular ‘shaheds’. Cruise, ballistic and air missiles: ‘Zircon’, ‘Iskander’, ‘Kinzhal’.

In total, about 120 missiles and 90 drones. “Our air defense forces destroyed more than 140 air targets,” he said in a message on Telegram.
