The APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, shared that President Bola Tinubu reassured him of his position amidst the suspension controversy.
Ganduje revealed this during a discussion with APC stakeholders from Kano State.
In a widely circulated video, the APC National Chairman alleged that the Kano State Government was behind the plot to depose him.
“I had a meeting with the President, and he assured me that my role as the APC Chairman, which the Kano State Government sought to strip me of, will remain intact.
“He reiterated my position as the APC National Chairman,” Ganduje stated.
Earlier this week, Haliru Gwanzo, the APC Legal Adviser in Dawakin Ward, Tofa LGA of Kano, suspended Ganduje over alleged corrupt practices.
However, Ganduje’s suspension was voided, and the individuals involved were suspended for six months.
