The case was presented by Brandon Rook against his ex-girlfriend, Noelle Halcrow. This occurred after Halcrow continuously attacked him online following the on-and-off end of their relationship in August 2016.
Halcrow’s actions involved creating multiple defamatory posts about Rook for a year, which accused him of being a drunk, a cheater, and having various STDs.
