Buhari: Nigerians urged to cease seeking medical treatment overseas
President Buhari emphasized on Friday January 3, that the continuous seeking of medical treatment abroad by Nigerians is no longer sustainable.
During the inauguration of several projects at Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state, President Buhari, who was represented by Minister of Science and Technology Ogbonnaya Onu, asserted that Nigerians' reliance on foreign medical treatment is detrimental to the nation and should be put to an end.
The Nigerian head of state also declared that his government has prioritized the health of its citizens and will continue to do so through the completion of the commissioned projects.
