Odion Ighalo Receives First Ever Manchester United Award Nomination

Nigerian football star, Odion Ighalo, has been nominated for the Manchester United Player of the Month award. This marks his first nomination since joining the club on the January transfer deadline day. Ighalo’s nomination is for the month of March. He faces strong competition from Bruno Fernandes, who won the Premier League Player of the Month for February.   In March, Ighalo scored three goals in four starts for Manchester United, including a brace in their 3-0 win over Derby County in the FA Cup. He also delivered a man-of-the-match performance against LASK, where he scored a goal and provided an assist in their Europa League clash last week. Congratulations to him!

A 21-year-old man has been arrested by the police for allegedly setting ablaze three churches in Kasokoso Kira Municipality in Wakiso District, Uganda.
