A Florida-based pastor has declared that he and his congregation will defy government orders to cease mass gatherings during the coronavirus outbreak, asserting that 'The only time the church will close is when the Rapture is taking place'. Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne, an evangelical Christian born in South Africa, leads the Tampa-based Revival Ministries International. A 21-year-old man has been arrested by the police for allegedly setting ablaze three churches in Kasokoso Kira Municipality in Wakiso District, Uganda. His motive was attributed to the churches preaching prosperity gospel while not alleviating his poverty.   Following his arrest, the suspect, John Reagan Ngobi, expressed his anger at being in poverty despite the teachings of the churches.
