Adding to the criticism, Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has also raised concerns with the President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, regarding the appointment of Senator Elisha Abbo as a patron of the association.
In a tweet, the veteran actress expressed her disapproval, stating that the Adamawa lawmaker, who was previously seen in a video assaulting a nursing mother in a sex toy shop, is not suitable to be a patron of AGN.
Kate Henshaw emphasized the presence of women in the guild and their objection to the appointment, sharing her sentiment in a direct message to Emeka Rollas:
“Emeka Rollas, I cannot find your handle on Twitter. My name is Kate Henshaw, and I do not mince words when I say @AbboElisha is NOT worthy to be a patron of the Actors Guild of Nigeria. We have women in this guild and we do not want to be slapped!!”
These remarks follow veteran actress Hilda Dokubo’s earlier criticism of Senator Abbo’s patronage in AGN.
