NNPP’s Criticism of Tinubu’s Leadership Style and Impact on Nigerians

The leadership style of President Bola Tinubu has come under fire from the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, for allegedly causing immense hardship for Nigerians.

In a recent gathering at his residence in Dutse, Malam Aminu Ibrahim Ringim, the leader of NNPP and a former gubernatorial candidate in Jigawa State, expressed his disapproval of Tinubu’s administration, labeling it as dictatorial. Ringim emphasized that Nigeria’s abundant resources should not result in the current hardships faced under the APC-led government.

Having observed the ruling party for nearly a year, NNPP decided to take action and challenge them at both national and state levels, according to Malam Aminu, who welcomed thousands of defectors from APC and PDP into the party.

The primary objective of the meeting was to strategize with NNPP leaders across all 27 local governments in Jigawa State on ways to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians, explained Malam Aminu.

Asserting NNPP’s commitment as an opposition party, he affirmed that the prevailing situation cannot be allowed to persist and declared, “We are duty-bound to hold the ruling party accountable and ensure Nigerians do not endure unnecessary suffering.”

In a call to action, Malam Aminu urged Nigerians to avoid a recurrence of the past mistakes in the upcoming general elections by voting conscientiously to secure the nation’s future.
