Nominees revealed for NPFL’s December Coach of the Month

Four coaches have been selected as nominees for the Nigeria Premier Football League’s Coach of the Month award for December.

The shortlisted coaches are Abdullahi Maikaba of Kano Pillars, Finidi George of Enyimba FC, Mangut Mbwas of Plateau United, and Kennedy Boboye of Heartland FC.

Boboye’s Heartland team achieved three wins, one draw, and two defeats during the month.

The 50-year-old tactician guided Heartland to 17th position from the bottom of the NPFL table before being released by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma.

Mangut’s team scored 12 goals in six games in December.

The Peace Boys secured four wins and suffered two defeats during the month.

Enyimba, under the leadership of Finidi George, continued their pursuit of defending the title with an impressive unbeaten run of four games in December.

Meanwhile, Maikaba’s side recorded four wins in the month.

The recipient of the December award will be announced later in the week.
