In an operation conducted at the Cele-Itire axis of Lagos, the Lagos State Government successfully apprehended 10 individuals falsely claiming to be enforcement officials.
According to a statement released by Mr. Olawale Musa, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transportation, these individuals were caught carrying out unauthorized enforcement activities using counterfeit ID cards. The ministry took action on the complaints received from concerned citizens.
Musa emphasized that the suspects were not affiliated with the ministry and would be held accountable under the law. The state government has confiscated the tow trucks, ID cards, and other tools belonging to these individuals.
