In the upcoming Champions League quarter-final second-leg clash between Bayern Munich and Arsenal, Germany legend Jurgen Klinsmann shared his insights on the potential winner.
The former Germany International is backing Bayern Munich to emerge victorious over the Gunners and secure a spot in the semi-finals.
After a 2-2 draw in the first leg at the Emirates, both teams are gearing up for the decisive match at the Allianz Arena.
Klinsmann expressed to ESPN his belief that the German giants will come out on top on Wednesday.
“They have the momentum on their side. While Arsenal has had a strong season and possesses the qualities to pose a challenge and make things tough for you.
“But currently, Bayern is fuelled by determination after losing the German Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen for the first time in 11 years last weekend. They are driven by a hunger for Champions League success.
“I feel they are brimming with motivation and energy to make a statement. They are eager to show their fans in Germany and worldwide the strength of their team. They are not ready to let the entire season go to waste.”
