NewsNow has reported that Akwasi Cynthia, who previously played for Heartland Queens in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), has made a transfer to Kazakhstan club Ordabasy.
Her new club has officially presented her as their new goalkeeper.
Akwasi delivered a standout performance for Heartland Queens during the NWFL season, contributing significantly to their qualification for the NWFL Super Six playoff.
Heartland Queens will be competing against Confluence Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, and Edo Queens in the playoffs to determine the 2024 NWFL champion.
The victor of the NWFL playoffs will secure a spot to represent Nigeria in the upcoming CAF Women Champions League.
