Denial of Involvement in Ganduje’s Suspension by Kano APC Ward Executives

Contrary to Monday’s suspension of the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, executives of the All Progressives Congress in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Ward in Kano State have distanced themselves from the decision.

Leading a solidarity visit to Ganduje at the party secretariat, the Legal Adviser of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Ward in Kano State, Halliru Gwanzo, along with a 27-member delegation, refuted any involvement in the suspension.

In addition, Gwanzo mentioned that he was unaware of the court case filed against the former Kano State governor.

This development follows remarks made by the same politician to journalists in Kano, attributing the decision to suspend the former governor to the APC ward leadership.

Gwanzo, in a report by NewsNow, pointed to the bribery charges leveled against Ganduje by the Kano State Government and his scheduled arraignment on Thursday as the rationale behind their actions.

Speaking to the press in Abuja, Gwanzo, who claimed to be impersonated, appealed to the ruling party to investigate the matter and punish those responsible.

He stated, “Together with 27 members from our ward in Dawakin Tofa Local Government, Kano State, I want to make it clear that we have no connection with the alleged suspension of our national chairman. It is false.

“The inclusion of my name as one of the plaintiffs who took legal action against him this morning came as a surprise. It is completely untrue.

“I have no knowledge of these accusations, and I urge the leadership of our esteemed party and the National Working Committee to apprehend the impersonators.

“They must be held accountable. We are aware that this is a scheme by the NNPP government and the Kwankwasiyya group.”
