In a dominant display against Everton on Monday night, Chelsea’s midfielder, Cole Palmer, made history by scoring four goals in their 6-0 victory.
The 21-year-old showcased his talent with a first-half hat-trick, propelling Mauricio Pochettino’s team to an early lead.
Palmer’s hat-trick was particularly impressive as he scored with his left foot, his head, and then his right foot, marking a perfect trifecta of goals at Stamford Bridge.
His first goal was a display of skill, while his second showed his instinct as a striker, and the third was a well-placed lob using his weaker foot after taking advantage of Jordan Pickford’s errant pass.
Palmer’s achievement also included setting the record for the fastest Premier League hat-trick by a Chelsea player and becoming the first to score in seven consecutive games at the stadium, further solidifying his place in Blues history.
Adding to his remarkable performance, Palmer converted a penalty in the second half to complete his quadruple.
