During the recent match against West Ham, former Liverpool star Jamie Carragher shared his perspective on the touchline clash between manager Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah.
Carragher suggested that the reason behind their disagreement was Salah’s delay in being ready to enter the field as a substitute.
In a post on X, Carragher stated, “The primary issue that could have led to the manager’s dissatisfaction in such a situation is the player’s tardiness in being prepared for substitution.”
Salah, who started the game on the bench, was eventually brought in by Klopp while Liverpool was leading 2-1. However, the turn of events saw Michail Antonio scoring to level the game at 2-2 while Salah and Klopp were awaiting a break in play on the touchline.
This led to a heated exchange between Salah and Klopp, requiring Nunez to intervene and defuse the situation.
