Alert from QNET regarding fraudulent foundation

QNET, a global direct-selling company focusing on lifestyle and wellness, has uncovered deceitful practices linked to its RYTHM Foundation, a CSR entity.

A statement released by QNET on Tuesday disclosed the detection of fraudulent activities involving an individual who established a fake office in Port Harcourt under the guise of the RYTHM Foundation, enticing job seekers with online advertisements.

The situation unfolded when a prospective employee was asked to pay a fee to secure a position, prompting suspicion that led to verification of the ad by contacting the foundation directly.

After learning of the incident, QNET promptly informed relevant authorities, resulting in the apprehension of the culprit. The case is currently under investigation.

Expressing deep concern, QNET denounced the illicit activities associated with the impersonation of the RYTHM Foundation.

The company clarified that neither the RYTHM Foundation, QNET, nor any affiliate companies are involved in such actions and repudiated any association with the perpetrators.

Emphasizing its commitment, the company affirmed its cooperation with authorities to combat fraudulent individuals.

Furthermore, QNET issued a caution to the public, urging vigilance and verification of information before committing to any engagements.

It stressed that QNET and its affiliated companies do not charge fees in exchange for job opportunities and encouraged reporting of any suspicious job advertisements.

Highlighting its dedication to empowering individuals through life-enhancing products and micro-entrepreneurship opportunities, QNET detailed its educational initiatives and public awareness campaigns to combat scams.
