2,172 Corps Members sent to Bauchi by NYSC


For the 2024 Batch ‘A’ stream ll orientation exercise, Bauchi State welcomed 2,172 corps members courtesy of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.

In an interview with reporters in Bauchi on Tuesday, the NYSC Coordinator, Mrs. Rifkatu Yakubu, made this announcement.

The registration for prospective corps members will kick off on April 17 and wrap up by midnight on April 21 at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Wailo, in Ganjuwa Local Government Area as stated by Yakubu.

The swearing-in of the prospective corps members will take place on April 23 with the orientation exercise coming to an end on May 7.

Prior to admission into the camp, Yakubu highlighted that each prospective corps member must be validated as legitimate graduates.

As part of security measures to prevent intrusion or impersonation, discreet screening of the corps members will be conducted, according to the coordinator.

“Corps members have been informed of the registration dates and are urged to strictly follow all camp rules and regulations.

“Non-compliance will result in appropriate sanctions in line with the scheme’s existing regulations,” addressed Yakubu.
