Warning from Carragher: Potential EPL Star Unsuitable for Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal

Former Premier League standout Jamie Carragher is advising Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United to think twice about pursuing Amadou Onana from Everton.

Rumors suggest that Manchester United is eyeing the Belgian midfielder, while Arsenal and Chelsea are also reportedly interested in securing his services during the January transfer window.

Reportedly, Everton is asking for a hefty fee of £50 million.

Carragher has raised concerns about the Belgium international’s abilities following his lackluster performance in Everton’s 6-0 loss to Chelsea on Monday.

During a segment on Sky Sports, Carragher commented, “I feel compelled to mention that Onana might be a player Everton needs to offload given their current financial situation. He arrived with significant hype surrounding him.

“However, I have my doubts. I haven’t seen anything exceptional from him since he joined Everton. It’s unclear what his role is. Is he a defensive midfielder? Does he contribute in attack? The only impact I’ve noticed is his ability to energize the fans whenever he plays for Everton.”
