During the 2020 AMVCA event in Lagos, BBNaija stars, Mercy Eke and Mike Edwards, were awarded as the best dressed male and female attendees by the event organizers.
Celebrity stylist, Toyin Lawani, expressed her dissatisfaction with the organizers’ choice on her Instagram page. She wrote
Many of my looks didn’t make it to the Red carpet, but all their Best Dressed are jokes. Okay, let’s forget about my dresses. Nana lady and Demola looked nice as hell.
