Despite coming from behind to claim a 4-3 aggregate win in the semi-final tie, Los Blancos’ celebrations were overshadowed by Tchouameni’s injury, which occurred in the 69th minute.
The French player is now in a race against time to be fit for the clash against Borussia Dortmund scheduled for June 1st.
As per an official statement, the 24-year-old has suffered a stress injury to his left foot. This incident raises concerns as he had previously dealt with a similar injury earlier in the season, raising questions about a potential recurrence of the same issue for the midfielder.
