The appointment of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Board has been authorized by President Bola Tinubu.
A statement released on Friday by Presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale revealed that the President encouraged all board members to utilize their extensive experience and skills in overseeing the country’s capital market.
Below are the names of the recently appointed SEC Board members:
- Chairman: Mr. Mairiga Aliyu Katuka
- Director-General: Mr. Emomotimi Agama
- Executive Commissioner (Legal and Enforcement): Frana Chukwuogor
- Executive Commissioner (Operations): Mr. Bola Ajomale
- Executive Commissioner (Corporate Services): Mrs. Samiya Hassan Usman
- Non-Executive Commissioner: Mr. Lekan Bello
- Non-Executive Commissioner: Mr. Kasimu Garba Kurfi
