The Rescheduling of NECO Common Entrance Exams into Unity Colleges

Due to lower-than-expected enrolment numbers, the National Examinations Council (NECO) has made changes to the schedule for the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination into Federal Unity Colleges.

The Entrance Examination into the Federal Government Academy in Suleja has also been rescheduled.

As per the updated timetable, the Common Entrance Examination, initially set for April 20, 2024, will now take place on June 1, 2024.

Similarly, the exam for Gifted and Talented Children into the Federal Government Academy in Suleja, originally planned for May 4, 2024, has been moved to May 25, 2024.

In a statement on Tuesday, Azeez Sani, Acting Director of the Directorate of Information and Digital Communication, attributed the rescheduling of the exams to a lack of candidates.

All candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and relevant stakeholders are urged to make a note of the new examination dates.

According to Azeez, candidate registration will remain open until the new examination dates.
