A total of 64 individuals suspected of engaging in online fraud have been apprehended by investigators from the Ibadan Zonal Directorate of the EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) in Osun State.
This group of suspected cybercriminals was detained in Ede, Osun State, on Wednesday.
Following actionable intelligence on their dubious activities in the area, the anti-graft agency made the arrests.
During the operation, law enforcement officials seized 18 luxury vehicles, 18 laptops, 112 mobile phones, three Play Station games, five motorcycles, and various incriminating documents.
Upon the completion of the investigation, the Commission has stated that the suspects will be prosecuted in court.
