The attack against Donald Trump just a week ago has awakened conspiracy theorists who claim that everything was a farce. In The Invisible School, They have analyzed these conspiracy theories, where they come from and whether or not they are founded. It should be noted that it is the third attack that Trump has suffered in two years and in the previous ones there were also doubts about its veracity.
The first theory that has been discussed is that it was a false flag attack, that is, that everything was prepared to “increase Trump’s popularity” at a difficult time for him to involve the United States in a war, despite having said that he would not do so, and the loss of votes ahead of the November midterm elections, commented expert Jesús Ortega.
In this sense, conspiracy theorists said that everything was prepared because Fox was broadcasting what was happening live at the time of the attack and suddenly the signal went away. Many said that it was because it was going to be revealed that, in reality, it was a false flag attack, but the reality is that there was little coverage in the room. In fact, the entire appearance is on the Fox website.
What is QAnon and what is its connection?
For his part, journalist Josep Guijarro has pointed out that most of these conspiracy theories come from forums used by Trumpists and ‘QAnon’ followers. It is not known who is behind that Q, but it supposedly has secret information from the Government, for example, the ‘Pizzagate’ scandal.
The information revealed by ‘QAnon’ is supported by the MAGA movement. How does it work? This anonymous character launches qdrops, “numeric keys, dates, elements that followers search for and interrelate to find a conspiracy”, all of this feeding, in itself, fake news.
Failures in security protocol
Another aspect discussed is the failures in the security protocol, since Cole Allen was able to travel from point to point of the country with weapons without passing any security check and checked into the hotel three days before. By the time of dinner he passed three security rings. “You start to wonder, is someone from the secret service involved or what is going on here?” said Sere Skuld.
Regarding the aggressor, Cole Allen, his name was on social networks since 2023 in an apparently random tweet from a certain Henry Martínez and was linked to Lockheed Martin, one of the US defense contractors. Not to mention that three days before, Google Trends statistics show that in countries like Switzerland, Taiwan, China, Ethiopia… they have a search with this man’s name. “And the majority of searches come from Israel,” added Guijarro.
