Protest by NLC Members Leads to Closure of KEDCO and NERC Offices in Kano

On Monday, a large group of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) members took action by shutting down the offices of the Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) in protest against the recent increase in power tariffs nationwide. In a related move, the organized Labour also picketed the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) offices in Kano for the same reason. Protest by NLC Leads to Shutdown of Jos DisCo Over Increased Electricity Tariffs
