Denying rumors of abandoning the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, the LP’s 2023 presidential candidate, affirms his continued membership and commitment to steer clear of anti-party behavior.
Speaking on X Space, a program hosted by Parallel Facts, Obi emphasized, “I am still a member of the Labour Party and I don’t and will never do anti-party.”
The former governor of Anambra State also asserted that he did not concede defeat in the 2023 presidential election.
He highlighted the influence of his supporters, referred to as Obidients, which resonated in Nigeria and internationally.
“We did not lose the election of 2023, we won; the impact of your (Obidients) was felt all over the world, and you can’t overlook that fact.
“It’s a significant achievement; stand tall and commemorate. Together, we can create a new Nigeria,” he further stated.
