Following a rejection from Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso, Bayern Munich has shifted their focus to Zidane as their top candidate.
Alonso, who also turned down an offer from Liverpool, has expressed his desire to continue with his current team, the reigning champions, into the next season.
Zidane’s coaching hiatus dates back to the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season during his tenure with Real Madrid.
