Results of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) have been released by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday.
Prof Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar of JAMB, revealed this information in a press conference held in Abjua, stating that 1,989,668 candidates registered for the examination, showing a 24.7% increase compared to the previous year.
Out of the total registered candidates, 1,904,189 were present and verified, 2,899 were present but unverified, and 80,810 were absent.

Checking via phone number:
To check their UTME score, candidates can use the phone number they provided during registration.
To do this, candidates should send an SMS with their registered phone number to 55019 or 66019 to view their results.
Ensure there is a minimum airtime balance of N50 and type ‘UTME RESULT‘ or ‘UTMERESULT‘ and send it to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number.
An immediate SMS response will be received by the candidate.
How to Check JAMB result using the result checking portal:
To access JAMB results via the result checking portal, candidates need to visit the official JAMB result checking portal.
– Enter your JAMB Registration Number or email address.
– Click on “Check My Result” or a similar button.
– Your result will then be displayed on the screen.
