Primate Ayodele urges Tinubu to reconsider strategy in the face of potential economic challenges

In a recent communication, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Church, advised President Bola Tinubu to rethink his approach towards economic hardships, as he predicts further economic crises looming for Nigeria.

Acknowledging Tinubu’s involvement in addressing the Naira devaluation issue, Primate Ayodele emphasized that the government has not taken the necessary steps to combat economic difficulties in the country effectively.

According to a statement endorsed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the prophet foresees continued high costs and increased inflation unless the government prioritizes enhancing agriculture and domestic production and refining of petroleum products.

He expressed his thoughts, stating: “I want to express my appreciation to the federal government for the progress made in strengthening the value of our Naira. The government has performed admirably and deserves recognition. This action averted a significant crisis for Nigeria.

Nevertheless, expenses are expected to remain high, and inflation will persist in the country. The most effective measures the government can take include fostering local oil production and refining to boost the economy and enhancing the agricultural sector.”

“There are underlying issues that many Nigerians are unaware of. Economic challenges still persist in the nation. I had previously mentioned the likelihood of electricity tariff increases, and Nigerians will continue to voice concerns regarding electricity problems.”

Primate Ayodele asserted that the government must undertake more actions as the populace will endure ongoing struggles, urging the federal government to devise a fresh economic strategy.

He further highlighted that the apparent economic progress could be superficial unless the government addresses the situation appropriately, rather than resorting to quick fixes.
