Wanted Criminal Apprehended by Police in Jigawa State

The authorities in Jigawa State have successfully captured a 25-year-old wanted criminal, Abubakar Alhassan. Alhassan is facing charges of criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, and culpable homicide in Gabasawa Local Government Area of Kano State.

Confirming the arrest, DSP. Lawan Shiisu Adam, the spokesperson of the police command, informed NewsNow about the latest development.

The arrest took place in Ringim local government during a raid on a criminal hideout located at Tsuru Fulani settlement.

During the operation, Abubakar Alhassan, also known as Abu Dogo, from Ringim LGA, was apprehended. A search of his person led to the discovery of four pieces of 7.62mm live ammunition.

Further investigation revealed that the suspect had previously been convicted and had been on the run in connection with cases of criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, and culpable homicide in Gabasawa.

Following the arrest, the suspect is set to undergo interrogation before being brought to trial.
