Six German Tourists Killed and 11 Injured in Car Accident at Italian Ski Resort

A tragic incident occurred as a car ploughed into a group of young German tourists, resulting in the deaths of 6 individuals and leaving 11 others injured. The tourists were waiting to board their bus after spending the night in a club when the accident occurred.   The incident took place in Luttach, Northern Italy, a popular tourist destination known for its numerous ski resorts. Ten of the injured individuals have been transported to hospitals in South Tyrol and Innsbruck, while one was airlifted to a hospital in Austria. According to a Facebook post by the Luttach volunteer fire service, the six individuals died at the scene after being hit by an Audi. Reportedly, the driver had a high blood alcohol content at the time of the accident.

On the morning of December 31, a woman was discovered unconscious by the roadside along the Agulu / Ekwulobia road at Nkwo Agu, Nanka. She was subsequently taken to Ofu Obi General Hospital in Nanka, where she has been under medical care since then. The following morning, January 1, 2020, the woman regained consciousness, albeit with some cognitive impairment, and identified herself as Chinyere from Agulu.
