Six German Tourists Killed and 11 Injured in Car Accident at Italian Ski Resort

A tragic incident occurred as a car ploughed into a group of young German tourists, resulting in the deaths of 6 individuals and leaving 11 others injured. The tourists were waiting to board their bus after spending the night in a club when the accident occurred.  

The incident took place in Luttach, Northern Italy, a popular tourist destination known for its numerous ski resorts.

Ten of the injured individuals have been transported to hospitals in South Tyrol and Innsbruck, while one was airlifted to a hospital in Austria.

According to a Facebook post by the Luttach volunteer fire service, the six individuals died at the scene after being hit by an Audi. Reportedly, the driver had a high blood alcohol content at the time of the accident.
