Osho-Virus behind APC crisis – VON DG, Osita Okechukwu replies Tinubu

The crisis within the All Progressives Congress (APC) has led to a war of words, with Osita Okechukwu, the Director-General of the Voice of Nigeria, responding to accusations made by Bola Tinubu in support of the suspended National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole. Okechukwu blamed Oshiomhole for the turmoil within the party, citing a prior confrontation before the 2019 election.

He regretted the shift in Oshiomhole’s leadership, as Okechukwu claimed that party members had previously held him in high regard with high expectations of quality leadership. Okechukwu expressed his disappointment with Oshiomhole’s actions, outlining “10 Osho-Virus blunders” allegedly committed by the embattled chairman.

These “10 Osho-Virus blunders” detailed Oshiomhole’s supposed mishandling of the party structure, incompetence, breach of APC’s constitution, manipulation of primary elections, double standards, nepotism, insincerity, erosion of support, and excessive expenditure of party funds.

Okechukwu concluded his statement by appealing to the party’s leadership to intervene and “Save the Soul of APC from further unknown consequences of Osho-Virus damage and destruction.”
