Confirmation from football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, indicates that Arsenal have set their sights on securing Ajax’s young talent, Jorrel Hato.
With the summer transfer window in full swing, Hato emerges as one of the leading targets for the Gunners.
Despite being just 18 years old, Hato swiftly transitioned from making his debut with Ajax last season to becoming a key player in the current campaign.
Although his contract with Ajax runs until 2028, Arsenal is determined to bring him on board this summer, intensifying their efforts to make it happen.
Speaking on the Here We Go podcast, Romano revealed, “Having recently extended his contract with Ajax, the club is understandably pleased with Hato and keen on retaining him. However, Arsenal’s continued interest is evident as they have scouted him extensively, recognizing his immense potential as a top-notch center-back. Keep a close watch on Arsenal’s pursuits as they are making significant strides towards securing Hato’s signature.”
He further stated, “Whether this deal materializes in the current transfer window or in the future remains to be seen, but Hato undoubtedly holds a prime position on Arsenal’s priority list.”
