Northern Professionals Task Tinubu On Ministerial Appointment

The Progressives Northern Professionals (PNP) has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to designate one of their own as a minister in the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

In a statement released over the weekend, Bello Abdullahi, the secretary-general of the group, made this plea and highlighted the suitability of Ahmed Nasser for the ministerial role under President Tinubu. Abdullahi emphasized Nasser’s impressive track record, experience, and pedigree.

Abdullahi acknowledged Nasser’s position as an outstanding technocrat, stating that he would be a valuable asset to the new government.

Furthermore, Abdullahi expressed confidence that if appointed, Nasser would ensure the realization of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Action Plan in the areas of Housing, Trade, and Investment.

Regarding Nasser’s contributions during the election campaign in the North Central zone, particularly in Kogi State, Abdullahi mentioned that he financed numerous activities that supported the party. This effort was facilitated through the Nasser Ahmed Support Group for Tinubu Shettima campaign organization, which is headquartered in Garki, Abuja.

Highlighting Nasser’s expertise in international housing and investment, the group described him as “a man of proven character and integrity, a dedicated technocrat with a strong sense of patriotism.”

Abdullahi stated, “He is widely recognized as a goal-oriented individual who consistently delivers results in any given task.”

The group urged President Tinubu to include Nasser in the upcoming cabinet for the sake of the country’s development and growth.
