Kanye West Reveals His Top Picks in Rap

One of the biggest names in American hip-hop, Kanye West, has shared his current picks for favorite rappers.

According to the Yeezy mogul, his current favorites include 21 Savage, Kodak Black, and Young Moose.

During a recent appearance on The Download Podcast, Ye highlighted the ever-changing nature of his preferred artists.

Reflecting on his choices, West mentioned, “My favorite rappers vary. It was 21 Savage at one point, but now it also includes Kodak Black and this up-and-coming artist, Young Moose.”

Aside from his music preferences, Kanye West criticized J.Cole for his apology to Kendrick Lamar following a diss track controversy.

In a previous incident, J.Cole apologized to Kendrick Lamar during his performance at the 2024 Dreamville Festival for dissing him and Drake on the track ‘Like That’ by Future and Metro Boomin.

West expressed his disapproval of J.Cole’s actions, stating, “J.Cole made a mistake by apologizing to Kendrick Lamar. You can’t even compare the two.”

Commenting further, he added, “I haven’t been following J.Cole much, but I heard about a track called ‘False Idols’ which apparently references me in some way.”
