Israeli PM Netanyahu Urges Strong Action Against Hamas for New Army Recruits

Appealing to new army recruits, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has emphasized the need to confront Hamas relentlessly.

In a recent address from his office, he called on the fresh soldiers to assume combat roles and resist a formidable adversary with vigor.

Netanyahu declared, “As you enter the IDF (army) with outstanding combat positions, your mission is to confront a ruthless enemy. We are striking back at them fiercely and will prevail.”

The conflict, initiated by Hamas on October 7th, 2021, has inflicted extensive damage on Gaza, sparking global criticism of Israel’s strategies due to the high number of civilian casualties and the severe humanitarian crisis affecting Gaza’s 2.4 million residents.

Netanyahu’s statements come in the backdrop of escalating tensions in the Middle East, following Iran’s recent direct assault on Israel.

Despite mounting international apprehension, Israel remains resolute in its campaign against Hamas.
