Israel threatens to hit Gaza "with unprecedented strength" if the hostages are not released

Israel’s Defense Minister, Israel Katz, warned this Wednesday that they will hit the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Gaza “with unprecedented force” if the approximately one hundred hostages they have been holding hostage for 14 months are not released. The launching of rockets against Israeli territory does not stop.

“If Hamas does not soon allow the release of Israeli hostages from Gaza, despite Israel’s willingness to make far-reaching concessions in accordance with the principles outlined by the US president, and continues to fire on Israeli communities, it will take blows. with an unprecedented force in Gaza for a long time,” he noted, according to the Israeli newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’.

This Wednesday Katz visited the city of Netivot, in southern Israel, against which Palestinian militias launched two rockets during the night. The projectiles have not caused any personal or material damage.

“The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) will intensify its activities against terrorist nests in Gaza until the release of the hostages and the elimination of Hamas,” he warned.

Therefore, he urges Gazans to “rise up against the murderous organization Hamas, which uses you as human shields, and secure the release of the hostages to avoid suffering and end the war.”
